Pavlik, who stopped Calzaghe's stable-mate Gary Lockett in three brutal
rounds in June, is desperate for a chance to end the Welshman's own unbeaten record.
However, Calzaghe has decided to face Roy Jones Junior in what could
potentially be his last fight.
And WBO and WBC champion Pavlik, who will fight former Calzaghe victim
Bernard Hopkins at a catchweight 170lbs on October 18, is not impressed.
He said: "Calzaghe... I don't know what I've got to do, perhaps shoot him
in the leg to stop him running."
